**Kindergarten Educator - 12 month Fixed Term - 0.6 position**
St Kilda Steiner Kindergarten is a beautiful and caring kindergarten community, built on 20 years of early childhood education, providing a mixed-age learning environment dedicated to Steiner pedagogy and free play.
Temporarily located in Murrumbeena, we are seeking a creative, nurturing, warm and gentle educator, who is willing to co-create a nourishing and strong Steiner rhythm for the children in their care.
The successful applicant will be able to commence immediately.
It is essential this person has a strong understanding and knowledge of Steiner Education and ideally has experience in a Steiner early childhood setting or Steiner training. Their role is integral to the overall kindergarten vision and working collaboratively to support/assist the teacher is essential. We are looking for a very special educator, keen to contribute their skills and talents with the children and who may be looking to be part of the greater vision of this very special kindergarten.
Qualification:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education preferred or Certificate III in ECEor equivalent
(Diploma qualified will paid as a diploma)
Training:
Current First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting Food Safety Handling Certificate as a minimum and a willingness to complete Food Safety Supervision course. Protecting Children: Mandatory Notification and other Obligations in the Early Childhood Sector.
