For aspiring Steiner teachers, parents & carers of children in Early Childhood

Discover the joys of teaching through a meaningful and fulfilling approach to education and to life through this rigorous and rewarding part-time course.

Delivered by our staff of highly experienced Australian and international tutors, our well-established teaching programs are designed to support the transition from mainstream teaching into Steiner education.

No previous teaching qualification is required for enrolment in any of our courses, and we welcome parents and homeschool providers to enrol in the course to gain the wealth of knowledge, insight and inner development that will inform their own parenting journey and/or home education environment. 

Early Childhood Foundation - Annual Course
In this first year course we explore the foundations of Steiner Education, Child Development, Anthroposophy, Life Phases and experience artistic activities and Craft. This is a very balanced curriculum of philosophy and creative activities that provide an enriching foundation for developing a comprehensive understanding of Rudolf Steiner’s teachings. Artistic activities include Eurythmy, Singing, Painting and Clay modelling. Craft also includes doll-making.

Completion of all course material and assignments of this first-year foundational course in Early Childhood Teaching is a prerequisite to continue onto the second year Early Childhood Teaching Certificate course which includes a practicum in a Steiner school or Pre-School and deepens the knowledge from the foundation year to qualify the student as a Rudolf Steiner Teacher.  Learn More

 

Nurturing Early Childhood - Saturday Workshops

Join us in Sydney for four Seasonal Saturdays to develop your creativity and skills for home or education environments, with inspiring talks based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner.
In these workshops you’ll learn about the art of storytelling and the wisdom that lives in Fairy tales. You'll enjoy a workshop in clay modelling, paiting, nutrition and biodynamic processes, and craft your own simple doll, among other creative and inspiring activities.
Guided by experts in Early Childhood, this course can be completed in part or in full.
