Dear Members and Friends of the Sydney Region of SECA,

You are all warmly invited to our next Regional Meeting:

Saturday, JUNE 14, 10am to 3pm at the Blue Mountains Steiner School, Clearview Parade, Hazelbrook.

9:30am BMSS will provide warm drinks and a simple morning tea to welcome people on arrival. We will gather in the Kindergarten.

10:30 SECA News and Update - Catherine Pilko

• Feedback from our recent in person Committee Meeting in Sydney – meeting with SEA, new website platform, Starweavings, Vital Years 2026, IASWECE update

• Upcoming events – SEA Conference, World EC Teacher’s Conference 2026, Vital Years 2026, Robyn Brown Workshop July 18-20,

11:00 Study  - Structuring a Movement Program by Robyn Brown

Lesley Foxwell will present the article and facilitate a discussion on the content of the article in relation to our work and approach in Steiner early childhood settings. 

11:45 Regional Sharing – sharing of movement games. Bring a children’s game to share. 

12:15 Puppet Play – The Elves and the Shoemaker  - Ebba Bodame

12:30 – Shared Lunch, networking and conversations.   BMSS to provide soup and bread. Please bring a plate to add to the lunch table.

2:00pm – Shared Craft Activity by the fire. Francine and Emily will facilitate a craft activity – sewing a small felt cat. Cut pattern and materials will be provided. Rika has offered to tell us an Indian folktale while we work.
