An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Assistant Director to join our team.

The role includes two or two and a half days as Assistant Director and two days as a Room Leader (Teacher). As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for completing and ensuring compliance of the preschool and maintaining our Quality Improvement Plan and Assessment and Rating evidence folders.

The ideal candidate will have:

- experience teaching in a Steiner Early Childhood setting

- NQF compliance training and experience with documentation mapped to the EYLF as well as Assessment and Rating evidence preparation.

- recognised Early Childhood teacher qualifications through ACECQA

- teacher accreditation with NESA

- A Working With Children Clearance provided prior to commencement

 

Glenaeon Preschool is open 40 weeks per year, from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

 

You will be required to work from 8:15am - 4:30pm. During preschool holiday periods some Assistant Director work will be required as well as teacher program preparation and attendance at Professional Development . Elements of this may be completed off-site.

Glenaeon is an independent Steiner school offering a holistic curriculum from Pre-School to Year 12 that meets and enriches the NSW syllabus and ACECQA requirements.
