The Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School, established in 1972, is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational, non-denominational school located in the eastern suburb of Warranwood.
A full-time Kindergarten Teacher is required for one of our mixed aged (4 – 6 year old) Kindergarten/Prep rooms in 2025.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Steiner-trained Kindergarten Teacher to join our well-established Early Childhood Faculty.
The applicant would be the Early Childhood Teacher of “Peppercorn” Kindergarten and be able to work as part of the Early Childhood team.
The applicant needs to have Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and VIT Early Childhood Teacher registration. Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is necessary.
A commitment to ongoing Anthroposophical studies is essential and a sound knowledge of the Rudolf Steiner Early Childhood Pedagogy and Curriculum, for example, the rhythm, free-play, morning circle and story-telling. Confidence to work with parents in an ongoing relationship to support the children is required.
